Galvanising

BC-TECH gives workpieces the optimum surface using galvanising. Depending on the method, corrosion protection, wear protection or electrical conductivity can be increased.

We maintain a separate department for the various galvanising methods. The advantages: Transport costs to external service providers are eliminated, delivery times are shortened – and the quality of the products and services is consistently high.

Electroless nickel

Nickel coatings can be used to increase the corrosion resistance, wear protection and sliding properties of surfaces. It is not for nothing that nickel is considered a universal material in electroplating.

Galvanic nickel

In contrast to electroless nickel, galvanic nickel is not produced purely chemically, but by electrolysis. The properties of electroless nickel and chemical nickel are similar, but electroless nickel can be produced more cost-effectively due to the lower cost.

Hard gold

Electroplated gold coatings are not only elegant, but also functional: they are characterized by their high corrosion resistance, for example. Hard gold coatings are used for connector contacts, for example.

Fine gold

In the field of electroplating, fine gold, also known as soft gold, is used in semiconductor technology (gold-plated connection surfaces of chips) and for soft gold plating of soldering surfaces on electrical circuit boards.

Pickling

Pickling can be used to remove chemically bound impurities and unwanted metal layers and to create oxide-free surfaces. Pickling serves as a pre-treatment of workpieces – and is often a prerequisite for clean work.

Electropolishing

Electropolishing is used for cleaning, fine deburring and polishing metallic workpieces. This process achieves a high level of purity, high corrosion protection and an elegant appearance.
